Autumn 2008 Turkey Texgate International Fabric Accessories Exhibition

The exhibition started in 1997, held two times a year, once in March, and once in September. It has been successfully held for the 21 time. Exhibits include cotton / silk / wool / polyester / polyester / nylon / polyester viscose fabrics, knitted / Denim / polyester microfiber / velvet and other fabrics, coated fabrics / leather fabrics / grey fabrics, all kinds of textile accessories and buttons / zippers / signs / shoulder pads and other garment accessories products.

The exhibition is held at the CNREXPO Exhibition Center of Istanbul, the largest exhibition center in Turkey. The center has excellent location and holds more than 60 exhibitions every year.

TEXGATE exhibition support units include: TurkishGovernment, TurkishCottonTextileIndustrialists, TurkishTextileIndustryEmployersUnionandClothing, FindingandTrimmingAssociation, TurkishClothingManufacturerAssociation and ITKIB (TurkishTextile&ApprealExporter sAssociation). Therefore, the exhibition has become the most important exhibition of professional fabrics and accessories in Turkey.

In September 2006, a total of 171 exhibitors from Turkey, China, Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Russia, Brazil, Pakistan and India participated in the exhibition. The exhibition was very professional. The exhibition was distributed in hall 4 and No. 8. The 4 hall was the main hall. There were 120 stalls, mainly in fabric stalls, while 8 in the pavilion were all accessories booths and 51 stalls.

Of the 171 exhibitors, 94 came from Turkey, accounting for 55% of the total; 39 exhibitors came from China, accounting for 22.8% of the total; the number of visitors was basically the same as that of the previous one, and most of them came from Turkey and Russia.

Turkey is the major textile / garment production and export country in the world. Its textile and garment industry has many advantages, such as the diversity of design and color, rapid response force, prompt delivery to keep the retailer from keeping stock and good production process, Turkey is the world's seventh largest cotton producer, cotton is still the most important raw material for its textile sector, has a skilled industrial worker, adjacent to Europe, and Europe is the most active textile market, and the EU customs union has the advantages of the textile and garment sectors, so the demand for various textile fabrics and clothing accessories is very large in Turkey.
