Tips On Network Promotion

The initial completion of the design and construction of a site is only the beginning of business website operation.

In order to truly play the role of a site, we should take this site as the foundation and carry out long-term and effective promotion work under the Internet.


1, the use of traditional media


At this stage of China, the influence of traditional media publicity is still far greater than that of the Internet. The most attractive part of the Internet is that it greatly reduces the cost of information dissemination and acquisition. Moreover, the wider use of the network to promote radiance is especially attractive for export oriented enterprises.


There are many specific ways to popularize the Internet, mainly including logging in search engines, using various forums, discussion groups, supply and demand pages, using directional mailing lists, etc.

But as we have mentioned in previous articles, compared with ICP, which provides information content, the target visitors are different because of their different starting points. Enterprise sites are generally more targeted. What they pursue is not Pageview (page reading number), but the actual benefits for enterprises, such as industry visibility, order number and so on.

Therefore, the promotion of enterprise sites needs more emphasis on "targeted", including geographical and industry.


For example, a major export oriented enterprise in Southeast Asia, its online promotion strategy should serve the whole enterprise. Registered search engines are also good at forums, supply and demand sites, and directional mail. We should focus on Southeast Asia. Although the network itself is not regional, our visitors have regional differences.

For example, a company that provides professional mechanical equipment is more targeted. It can register on some "professional" engines, leave messages on the "professional" supply and demand sites, establish links with similar or adjacent industries, publish professional mailing lists and so on.


4. Collect targeted websites.


From the above, we can see that after understanding the basic network promotion methods, the first thing for an enterprise website to do online promotion is to collect "targeted" sites, including engines, forums and so on. This is actually what we do in traditional media: collecting media information, and analyzing which magazine and which newspaper and TV program are more suitable.


5, understand the publicity influence of each site.


After the collection of a large number of targeted sites, and then through the actual operation to understand the publicity influence of the various sites, sorting out the frequency of publication on the various publicity sites.

The following work includes: timely reply to daily letters, establishment of database for users and potential users, release of mailing lists based on this database, and enhancement of contact with these users.
