In recent years, the government procurement function has been increasingly enhanced, which has greatly standardized procurement behavior and saved a lot of financial funds.

From 2003 to 2008, the scale of government procurement in Shanxi has reached 19 billion 434 million yuan, and total savings of 1 billion 758 million yuan.

At the same time, with the deepening of the reform of government procurement system, the guiding role of government procurement is becoming increasingly evident.

To this end, Shanxi has formulated more operable and more effective preferential policies and ways of inclination: first, procurement of domestic goods in government procurement, giving priority to the purchase of energy saving products, environmental labeling products and independent innovation products, actively supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, enhancing the ability of independent innovation and achieving the goal of macroeconomic policies of the government.
