    巴斯夫：9月中旬巴斯夫全资收购汽巴；巴斯夫10月16日宣布，一个新的聚四氢呋喃(巴斯夫以PolyTHF为其品牌)应用实验室在上海成立；10月28日巴斯夫又宣布，收购比利时瑞克塞尔（Recticel）公司部分聚氨酯业务。

    陶氏：10月19日，罗门哈斯股东投票决定正式批准陶氏的并购；11月13日有报道称，沙特王国-陶氏化学公司下属的业务部件陶氏技术许可和SABIC工业公司（SABIC）的合资企业沙特欧洲石油化学（IBNZAHR）宣布启用世界上最大的聚丙烯（PP）工厂。

    拜耳：10月7日相关报道指出，拜耳公司(BayerAG，BAYRY)和康宁公司(CorningInc.，GLW)计划扩大在台湾的投资规模；10月17日，拜耳材料科技于拜耳上海一体化基地正式启动年产能35万吨的MDI生产工厂；11月10日拜耳宣布，其位于中国广州的聚氨酯系统工厂正式投入运营。
