India Government Levying Anti-Dumping Duty On Nylon Filament Yarn
Recently, the largest textile industry in India and the yarn import business in the man-made fiber industry were in a doldrums. This is mainly due to the Levy of imported nylon filament yarn from January 13th this year.

According to the relevant policies of the India government, imports from China, Korea, Taipei, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia will be imported from January 13th this year.

The largest man-made fiber industry in India has 600 thousand knitting machines, and the man-made fibres made in India occupy the national level.

In the 600 thousand machine, 150 thousand machines are mainly made of nylon filament yarn.
In addition, there are about 750 warp knitting factories in the area, with a total investment of 3 billion rupees.
The main raw materials for production are nylon filament yarns.
At present, the demand for nylon filament yarn in India is 5000 tonnes per month, of which 3300 metric tons are supplied locally and the rest need to be imported.
The Nan Gujarat Bonnie Ron Trade Association said that the state should create a fair competition environment for importers and end users of nylon filament yarns.
The prices of imported nylon filament yarns have risen sharply, and domestic buyers are unable to pay such high prices, while domestic nylon filament yarn sellers seize the opportunity to monopolize prices.
On the other hand, the domestic knitting factories in India face fierce competition from the Chinese market for importing 300 tonnes of woven fabrics per month.
It is believed that the government should impose anti-dumping duties on these products instead of raw materials.
