Columbia'S "National Development Plan" Tax On Imported Textiles Is Invalid.

According to the Columbia comprehensive media on January 30th, the Columbia constitutional court ruled that the 274th, 275th item of Columbia's "2018-2022 year national development plan" was invalid because of its legislative power, and should be abolished. The provisions of the case involve a substantial increase in the tariff rate on imported textiles (a 10% ad valorem duty on products of $20 / kg, and a rise of 15% to 20 dollars / kilogram below the tax rate from 15% to 37.9%), which was triggered by the deliberation of the Columbia Congress in May 2019, and was appealed to the constitutional court by the Ministry of finance of the Columbia and the relevant industry organizations.
